Here are a few suggestions. Good luck!

1. Take your Vitamin D with food, preferably something that has fat in it. It is a fat-soluble vitamin and may be better tolerated this way.

2. If you are taking your vitamin D in the morning, try taking in at night, with dinner or right before you fall asleep.

3. Take it with ginger.

4. Take it with as little water as possible.

5. Try the liquid drops instead of a pill.

6. Get your vitamin D from the sun or a safe tanning bed!

Hi guys, I started taking vitamin d tablets from 14 weeks but since I started to take them I couldn't hold any food down at all. It got so bad that I started vomiting blood aswell (quite a lot). My partner got scared when he saw this as I tend to avoid him when I'm in this state. Now I've stopped taking them I've stopped with the vomiting. Reading about vitamin d and my babys needs is making me want to get back on them but I'm just worried that I'll get back to that poorly state and will affect my baby. Please advise

Great article. I thought your readers might appreciate a list of Vitamin D recommendations for pregnant Moms as well as children (from various medical associations in the U.S. and Canada); http://ddrops.ca/vitamin-d-recommendations.php .

All mummy's wants their child to be healthy in every way. Sometimes an infant has some problem at birth from womb. Deficiency of vitamin d is increasing now-a-days so I think all pregnant woman should be getting proper vitamin d.
